MemberAlertX is a service of Xpandable Technology Lab LLC. This explains what we collect, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it.
Your mobile number and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. They're used only to send you the texts of the groups you joined and to keep a record of your consent. The organizer sees your name, your email address, your status (invited, waiting for your YES, getting texts, stopped) and only the last 4 digits of your number.
Only to run MemberAlertX: sending invites and the texts of groups you joined, honoring STOP and HELP, keeping consent records that carriers require, billing the organizer, preventing abuse, and answering support requests. We don't use it for advertising and we don't sell it.
Only the vendors that make the service work: Twilio (sending the texts), our email infrastructure (invite emails), and Stripe (the organizer's billing). Each gets only what it needs for that job.
While the group exists and you're in it. Consent and opt-out records are kept as long as carriers and the law require, even after you stop, so we can show you agreed (or asked us to stop). Ask us and we'll delete the rest.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be shown here with an updated date.
